"We offer a sample range which can help a bride choose style elements she likes," says Ann. "We can then develop a totally new look or build on a concept of an existing gown".

At Rapsimo, the current trend is for classic styles from the 50's and 60's. "I am expecting a resurgence in the lace and romantic fabrics that are not quite so pristine," says Ann.

She believes that, through clever design, brides can live their fantasies and in the future, there will be a return to individual expression.
