The marriage of Stacey and Christos was as spectacular as their meeting.
At just 16 and still at high school, Stacey took her mother to a cafe for Mother's Day. It was to be a special Mother's Day that would always be remembered.
Whilst enjoying the time with her family, Stacey's mother glanced over to a handsome gentleman across the room and without hesitation announced 'I have just met my future son-in-law!' She was looking at Christos (20), who at the time was working behind the counter, whilst studying at university.
The following year on Valentine's day, Christos in true romantic style, proposed to Stacey on bended knee.
After a 5 year engagement and Christos now a qualified lawyer and Stacey an accountant, they became one, in what was to be a wonderful wedding joining two special families.
The sentimental Anglican and Greek Orthodox ceremonies, that included traditional family elements dear to their hearts, were followed by an elegant formal reception for approximately 100 guests at Ayers House.
Wedding guests were treated to Stacey arriving in a stunning Pronovias wedding gown imported from Spain, with beautifully scented Singapore orchids complimenting the romantic theme of the day.
Wedding guests also enjoyed a luxurious two-tiered hazelnut and dark chocolate mud cake from How Sweet It Is, as the perfect finishing touch to what was an amazing day.
Stacey and Christos continued their wedding celebrations together on a 4 week honeymoon to the wonderful romantic honeymoon destinations of Paris, Nice, Monaco, Venice and Greece.
Stacey's one piece of advice to future brides:
'Plan even earlier...more and more couples are planning and booking their wedding services 18 months in advance, so if you have your heart set on a particular venue or photographer, be sure to book as early as possible.'
Stacey and Christos's special wedding day memories were captured by Darren from Impressions Photography Studio. 'Everyone commented on how at ease Darren made our guests feel and how his unique photographic style brought out the true essence of what our wonderful wedding was about. Thank you Darren.'
