"Darling, darling I simply just love Tiffany's!" Ms Golightly [aka Audrey Hepburn] was onto something in the classic film, and one of our all-time favourites, 'Breakfast At Tiffany's'. Her infatuation with the jewellers and endearing nature has had women everywhere swooning for diamonds and class for decades. Infuse your special day with the unmistakable charm and sophistication that comes so effortlessly to Holly Golightly and create a day to remember...
The classic Tiffany blue shade should act as the base of your styling - a hue that goes oh so beautifully with silver and white! The colour reminds one of the excitement and glamour that comes with receiving a little special something in a lovely Tiffany & Co. box. To create a theme, it's a fabulous idea to scatter pearls along your tables as centrepieces and to use faux Tiffany & Co. boxes as favours filled with deliciously delectable cupcakes.

Inspired by the bluey-greys of an autumn storm, the prettiest palette of slate, grey and neutrals come together perfectly for a chic city celebration full of Parisian flair. The cool colours hint at an air of decadence, especially when mixed with bronze and brown shades to add warmth; these colours are the epitome of chic, so think elegant and opulent decor with chandeliers, mixed metals and lashings of lace for your dress.
To make this palette look pretty rather than cold, the key is to layer the shades rather than focusing on each colour separately. Make use of a range of fabrics to do this, which will also add a beautiful texture to proceedings. A Place setting with wooden chargers atop linen and ornate vintage cutlery wrapped with a pretty silk bow is the exact look for that vintage chic style.

Royal blues, plush plums, deep purples and stunning emerald greens, this is one colour palette that is sure to leave your guest feeling regal and very rich! This striking mix of dark tones works so well when combined with different textures; lace, dark stained timber and velvet are the perfect accents to this opulent palette. Set your scene in an old country estate and go wild with your flower décor and add those finishing touches with hints of gold or silver.
Go for a wedding dress that is slightly boho but also glamorous. Lots of vintage lace, maybe even a velvet ribbon bow around your waist. For your bridesmaids go for different rich shades of purple and emerald. Deep tones mixed with bright colours and decadent green leaves give your wedding bouquet a rich and luxurious look.
Adorn your cake with berries and roses for a lush feast-like effect. Decorate your table tops with plush velvet or gold and silver vases filled with floral arrangements accented with dark wood, complimenting the colour palette perfectly. Taper candles are the ultimate addition to any tablescape and set the mood perfectly!

THE COUPLE: Jen + Matt
PALETTE: Shades of indigo and blues mixed with neutral and metallic finishes made for a whimsy delight with finishing touches of raspberry and violet.
STYLE: Grecian and a 'Midsummer Night's Dream'. A beautiful mix of styles that reflected who they both are as people. A relaxed vibe and easy structure with an outdoor component in a garden or winery for the ceremony.
THE DRESS: I was looking for a gown that when worn I would be able to catch and cuddle my son, something I could dance on a table in and a gown to ensure I still felt like myself, but a more ‘fabulous’ self. It featured three parts, inclusive of a silk dress underneath a beautiful lace kimono for the ceremony. When I met with the inspiring Alli Lynch at Betrothed she constructed a sheer kimono from a divine piece of French lace and attached it to the silk underlay. I wore a bespoke vintage gown for the reception, pieced together meticulously from vintage fabrics.
THE CEREMONY: The grounds are incredible; stepping into this property is like being transported to Tuscany. The walled garden was our ceremony location and we chose it simply because it was gorgeous and we felt it to be the right place for us. We hired the onsite accommodation for the weekend, so the groomsmen, bridesmaids and ourselves could get ready there and quite literally walk out of our door and arrive at the ceremony.
THE RECEPTION: Many of our guests traveled a long way to be with us that weekend so we wanted the day to be as easy as possible for them and felt we would achieve this by cutting out travel to and from the ceremony and reception. The venue’s ‘Orangerie’ is ideal for intimate gatherings and sits right next to the walled garden where we were married. Our guests could arrive and relax while our photographer worked his magic, which kept the flow of the day very organic.
DECOR: We hired a Persian rug and borrowed several others to create a layered area below the gorgeous arch at our ceremony. We also scattered crates and floor cushions covered in indigo fabrics to create a ‘chill out zone’ for guests before and after the ceremony. An assortment of little bottles served as vases and I purchased a collection of hand-dyed silk ribbons, to which I attached decorative tassels, for our hand-binding ceremony. We hired fairy lights, a lovely mixture of copper vessels, ‘L-O-V-E’ marquee lights and peacock wicker chairs for Matt and myself. The bridal table runner was a beautiful piece of vintage Indonesian indigo-dyed fabric.
FLOWERS: I chose a gorgeous bohemian inspired raspberry rose bouquet wrapped in twine. The same flowers were also included in the bridesmaid’s flower crowns, the little flower girl’s crown and the groom and groomsmen’s buttonholes. Matt and I put all the other arrangements together. I walked around the scrub at my mother and father’s home and collected olive branches and other greenery to use. We utilised the venue’s vegetable patch for the feature arrangements on the bar, including incredible artichoke flowers that worked their way seamlessly into the day. A few bunches of feature flowers such as peonies and gypsophila were incorporated into cake, aisle and table decorations and bridesmaid bouquets.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Mark at Bentinmarcs Photography was exactly what we were looking for. He worked so hard on the day and took both film and digital shots. Mark is such a heartfelt and observant guy that he was able to capture the special little moments and offered the candid style of photography I love the most. His work gave us a collection of memories that tell the true story of the day and really show the emotion we all felt. I am so grateful to him for that.
