We've never seen wedding decor quite like this spectacular rustic wreath! Talk about WOW-factor, the artwork hangs from the ceiling with candles in glass baubles to create a chandelier unlike any other! xx

It is said that a perfect entrance often begins with a perfect wedding car; your vehicle of choice will set a standard of style for your wedding as you make your grand arrival! South Australia’s very own Pro Street Weddings know exactly how to make a statement with their fleet of perfectly restored and maintained white 1968’69 HK/HT Holden Premiers – these cars, with their charming touch of yesteryear, will stand out from the rest!
We love the passion, enthusiasm and personality that the guys from Pro Street Weddings infuse into their family operated business. These all-around nice guys are humorous, professional and understand that choosing a wedding car is a once in a lifetime experience and the significance of your day and their special cargo! We had the opportunity to talk to Danny from Pro Street Weddings to gain a little insight into their business and why it is so important for them to make your wedding day so unforgettable….
What drew us to the wedding car industry…Frank, Phil and I are the owners of Pro Street Weddings with three unique personalities from related families that gel together because we all believe in the same thing; family comes first. We apply those same values to our business because we want our clients to feel like they are part of our ‘family’ (business) and we are part of theirs. We get a real buzz getting involved with each and every wedding that we do and we know when we’ve not only put a smile on their faces but ours as well that we’ve achieved what we set out to. The feeling you get when you have made someone else’s day makes it all worth it.
Our business supplies Adelaide’s only 1968/1969 HK/HT Holden Premier Vehicles for weddings, formals and special occasions. The idea came when the three of us were sitting at a shack at Port Vincent after a day out fishing on the boat (don’t think we caught anything that day, major bummer!). I had bought my HK Premier about six months prior and had used the car in a few mates’ weddings. As a group we were throwing the idea around and as a joke one of us said “maybe we should get a few more cars and do it as a business”. The dream became a reality and in 2009 we officially became Pro Street Weddings with just two cars. In 2010/2011 we added our third and in 2012 our fourth. In just over three years we’ve been a part of over eighty weddings and travelled as far as the Barossa Valley and Victor Harbor.
Our favourite car industry leader…favourite? There isn’t just one, we love cars in general!
What inspires us…family and friends. They give a sense of belonging and a sense of direction.
Our approach to the wedding car industry…we like to involve ourselves in the wedding as though we're part of it; we are constantly looking out for someone that needs a hand to do something. We’ve done everything from taking photos, being in the photos, suggesting locations for photos, holding flowers, drinks, dresses, umbrellas…you name it we’ve done it!
The one thing though that stands out for us is that we do something so simple but so important to all of our clients - we open and close the car doors for them. We base our service on how we would like to be treated, like if it were us getting married.
The first thing we do when we start work…work for us is on the road so when we step into work we are basically stepping into our cars. The first thing we do is make sure we look presentable, the car looks good and that we have everything we need to make sure the day runs as smooth and successful as it should.
A typical day at work…starts way before the actual day. The cars are detailed for every job, drinks are stocked in the fridge, our uniforms are ready, the cars have petrol, the tyres are pumped and the fixtures and fittings are all tight and secure. On the day of the wedding we do a final check of the cars, stock the esky, make ourselves presentable, drive to the pick-up locations, meet and greet the passengers, take them to the ceremony, wait for them whilst they exchange their vows, setup the cars for photos and take them to photo locations, keep the passengers on time, take them to the reception - all with a big smile on our face and of course while opening and closing the doors behind them. We then take the cars home, give them a clean inside and out and the cover goes on ready for the next time.
Our favourite wedding story…just one?? Okay if we must! A couple named Nicole and Michael. They were the most warming people we have ever driven for and so unexpected because they were so young. They warmed to us from the moment they made first contact and truly made us feel like part of their family. They invited us into their homes and gave us food and drink whilst we waited at the park, in fact they made us sit with them whilst they ate. They involved us in their photos and even to this day they are the only couple that has taken us into their reception centre and had photos with all the drivers, something that we will never forget.
Our favourite place to shop in Adelaide…Outlaw Speed Shop or any shop to do with cars.
Our favourite place to eat in Adelaide…our places because the food is home cooked and you can’t beat it!
The top of our shopping list…Harley Davidson Softail motorcycles. As part of our service we also provide Harley Davidson escorts but we don’t actually own the bikes….envy is so naughty isn’t it!!
Our idea of a good time…family and friends all together, eating, drinking, talking and carrying on with each other. It’s a time to relax and reflect about things we’ve done together and are going to do together.
When we’re not at work you will find us…at home, fishing or just working on the cars.
We can’t live without…family and friends.
Five words that best describe us…respectful, driven, logical, reflector and all round nice blokes….okay that’s about nine words, sorry…
Our favourite drop…being European, we make our own, so our label!! Although as girlie as it sounds Brown Brothers is not a bad drop (don’t let that get out).
