Providing your guests with a little something that says thankyou for sharing this special day with us is a nice touch + one that will leave your guests feeling all warm + fuzzy on the inside as they part. Its time to move away from the norm + think outside the box; we are talking about bonbonniere that is practical, fun, unique + even delicious in some cases! With that in mind, we have found the perfect bonbonniere that is super-cute, chic + won’t break the bank. Your guests are going to obsess over their unique tea favour – we know because we can’t get enough of the idea! This is the perfect little DIY that is sure to add that personal touch to your nuptials. What’s more perfect? We have found the ultimate tea to use… ladies, allow us to introduce you to Australia’s own Madame Flavour. Madame flavour teas are the perfect tea to celebrate life’s great relationships; beautifully indulgent tea that contributes in a small way to your day. With an array of delightfully combined flavours, you + hubby are sure to find the perfect blend, after all, you found each other!
Store the indulgent tea bags in brown paper bags wrapped with string, in a tea cup + saucer or a hessian bag for that vintage rustic feel. Alternately, place them in a square tin/box for that trendy, elegant yet modern feel just like our real wedding couple Nena + Michael “we made our own bonbonniere from gold tins + filled them with madam flavour teabags”[pictured below]. With cute tags like “love is brewing” + “you’re just my cup of tea”, how can your guests not fall in love with this totally chic idea– they are going to think you are tea-riffic!

Why not double your seating plan as bomboniere gifts? These miniature bottles of champagne are a lovely way to thank your loved ones for celebrating your special day with you, and if you label each one individually, they can also be used as a seating plan! Guests should find their name, check their number and let the good times roll...

We love a pinata - they're so much fun and a hilarious game to play with your guests. You could join in on the action and play with them, or set it up for guests to have a hit at while you and the bridal party are off having photographs. Fill up your pinatas with some cute goodies - not just lollies, but also glitter, cut outs of your initials and confetti.
It will be a fun idea to personalise the contents to suit your taste; mini bottles of bubble solution are a great idea, as guests will be able to use them later on to farewell you at the end of the reception. Seed packets, miniature plastic bottles of alcohol, glow sticks the guests can wear later on, sparklers and matchboxes and bottle openers are other great additions. If you really want to see your guests scramble for the prize, throw in two movie tickets or a gift card! Let the frenzy begin!

Tired of seeing the same bomboniere over and over again? Do you go home after a wedding and add your five sugared almonds to the mounting pile in your cupboard? They are lovely for those who are sticklers to tradition, but if you’re bored of the same-same, we have come up with some unique wedding favours ideas:
Cute socks. Practical and adorable, patterned socks (we particularly like this pink pair decorated with red hearts) are great for a winter wedding – guests can slip out of their of their heels and into cosy feet warmers when they get home.
For those food connoisseurs who prefer their savouries over sweets, these little jars of olive oil make for unique bomboniere gifts guests can actually use…but only if they invite you over for dinner!
A little crystal jar of your favourite perfume and cologne is a super personal wedding favour that guests can carry around with them and be reminded of your wedding day every time they dab on the fragrance.
Why don’t you each choose your favourite book and leave guests with a little reading material. A handwritten note and the date in the cover will make it even more special.
We absolutely adore the juicy succulent apple bomboniere from Adelaide’s edible gift specialists Berry Pop. They expertly carve your guests names into each bright red fruit, leaving a personalised and unique gift.
Can’t get enough of macarons? Neither can we! Our favourites are from the Mac Factory and look oh so charming in these miniature apothecary jars from Exalt by Design. Treat your guests…yum!
If you and your hubby-to-be love the cinema (and awkwardly spent your first date seeing the latest romantic comedy) give guests the gift of a movie ticket so they too can enjoy a date night with the big Hollywood stars.
Encourage guests to have fun, loosen up and take advantage of the flowing champagne. Just make sure you provide them with a pair of sunnies with the message ‘For the morning…thank us later”.
We love these witty little bag tags, with sayings on them like ‘hands off’, ‘my clothes won’t fit you’ and ‘not worth stealing’, guests will smile and think of you each time they travel.
If you’re holding your wedding somewhere like the beautiful Barossa, make the most of the amazing local produce and gift little paper bags of fresh fruits, such as these grapes. They are delicious, low-calorie and guests can refresh and cleanse their palates after their second slice of wedding cake.
Send guests a little flash-drive with their ‘Thankyou’ note as a tech-savvy bomboniere idea. Load them up with a few special songs from the wedding and your favourite candid snaps so your friends and family can re-live the evening.
Brighten guests day with some sunflower seeds; an environmentally friendly bomboniere idea. Guests can plant them and be reminded of you each time they see the big yellow bloom, or alternatively – munch on them!
Why not skip the whole wedding favour idea and make a donation to your favourite charity, such as the Cancer Council, in each guest’s name. They will feel honoured to be involved and you’ll be helping out those who need it.
Giftables stock the sweetest little bomboniere gifts, from heart shaped ice-cream scoops (a scoop of love, anyone?) to heart shaped tea-infusers and tongs, give each guest a little bit of love to take home with them. Aw.
