A destination wedding is fun for all of those involved! If you and hubby-to-be have decided to head down this path then you have come to the right place – it is time to kick-start your destination wedding planning. Your save the dates should be sent six months to a year from your wedding date, your guests have lives and the more notice you give them the better, especially when traveling on a holiday weekend or to a far off land. There are so many fun ways to share the news – from passport themed invitations to messages in a bottle and more!
Make sure that you include as much information as you can for your guests so they can learn more about the specifics. Make sure that you include the accommodation options so that all your guests can reserve a room at the same hotel and be central to the celebrations; it makes your life as a bride so much easier. Bag tags are such a super cute idea and your guests will love using them en-route on their luggage.

Be inspired by the chic, couture + sophisticated flair of Coco Chanel’s signature style of black, white + blush hues as it marries French inspired details with ultra-luxe, high style fashion + beauty finishes. Chanel is all about the classics; Pretty floral palettes of soft pinks + champagne mixed with the chic feel of timeless black décor makes for all things fabulous (in the words of Coco Chanel). Peruse over the softness + femininity of pink shades blended with the modern, chic feel of black accents to create a wedding day style that is timeless, elegant + luxurious.

Wow your guests with these gorgeous camera filmstrip wedding invitations. Either a fun DIY project or purchased from quirky online stores they’re the perfect addition to a boho or vintage wedding. It’s as simple as using a film canister, can opener, tape, paper, Sharpie and scissors.
Pry the canister open with the can opener, pop the film and spindle out of the canister, trace the existing film onto your paper and cut it out, write ‘pull’ on one end and your invitation message along the paper. Alternatively, you can print your text from a computer to save time and fit more content. Finally, tape the blank end of your paper to the spindle and wrap in a coil, ensuring the ‘pull’ end is free and visible. Place the spindle back in the canister so the ‘pull’ is poked out through the opening in the canister. Voila, these sweet camera filmstrip wedding invitations are yours!

We think these Polaroid invites are so cute! Such an innovative idea – get your guests excited to attend a unique and creative wedding by giving them a preview of your potential. An invite that guests will want to show off on the fridge, not to mention the fun you and your beau can have taking some snaps.
Adapt to a vintage wedding with coffee stains and a sepia filter or put a modern spin on the classic camera, taking inspiration from Instagram and inject plenty of bright colours to create a fun invitation.

Peonies have been popping up everywhere in recent times and we can definitely see why. The perfect petals, the stunning array of colours... Who would've thought, just like platform heels and winged eyeliner - even the fashion of flowers is on rewind. We think we may have found our favourite bloom of the moment... actually, lets me honest, we will never be able to narrow it down to just one.
Whether in full bloom or barely buds, peonies will suit colour schemes from radiant brights to pretty pastels; peonies are for everyone.

So your hubby-to-be did it, now it’s time for YOU to pop the big question…to your best girlfriends. “Will you be my bridesmaid?” is a question you (hopefully) only ask once in your life, so make it special and unique. We’ve put together a few different ways to ask the leading ladies in your life to stand by your side on your wedding day. You can ask with a simple unique card and you could get really creative and make your own. A special note inside will be a memento for your girlfriends to keep forever. The best part is they can reflect your own personal style (no fiancé to consider with these invites!), from formal and glamorous to whimsical DIY.
BHLDN offer sweet handkerchiefs sewn with “Will you be my bridesmaid?” – totally adorable and perfect for when the happy tears start flowing at the alter. Another idea is to put together special bridesmaid survival kits. Include specifications of their duties (moral support, checking for lipstick on the teeth etc), tools for minor emergencies (bobby pins, stain remover, mending kit, Panadol etc) and a disposable camera to capture the planning process.
If you’re a foodie, say it with something that reflects your passion. Personalised biscuits will satisfy a sweet tooth or get wine labels made up for your favourite bottles of sparkling, champagne or shiraz. You can pop them open over a bridesmaids’ brunch or keep them to celebrate a wedding anniversary in many years. However you decide to ask, ask with love and celebrate that you are blessed to have such special girls by your side during your 'I Do's'.

We all know that wedding invitations are the first impression that your guests will have of your wedding and will often be stuck on the fridge for months – so they need to look nothing less than fabulous! These days, wedding invites are getting more and more creative, couples are thinking out of the box and delivering personalised creations to guests’ letterboxes. Ensure consistency from conception to completion with paper goods that reflect a theme from the invites to the menus, place cards and bomboniere.
Piipod Design creates some of the most unique, quirky and beautiful wedding paper goods that we have seen, custom-made to represent you and your fiancé as a couple. We love this bright and vibrant citrus theme to brighten up the upcoming chilly winter months. The citrus colours and images appear on the invitation, through to the place cards (oranges!) and bomboniere packages. Personal, different and oh so cute!
This sweet Candy Store wedding theme is another example of how you can carry a concept right through your entire stationery. The invitations will instil excitement in guests as they receive a fun and interesting invite to share in the wedding celebration. Bold RSVPs and wishing wells are included and bound together with red and white tassels and you can showcase guests’ names on bright vintage-style place cards.
Yum – candy bomboniere in a personalised jar is a great way to ‘share the love’ and satisfy your guests’ sweet tooth! The possibilities are endless and the results are always so fantastic when you carry a consistent theme that comes straight from the heart.
This natural and earthy nautical theme is perfect for a beach wedding, the rustic string and thick cardboard goes beautiful with the soft sand and rolling waves. It also shows the other ways you can be creative with your wedding stationery - wishing well invites can be in the form of gift tags and bomboniere boxes can match. Alternatively, send guests home with a personalised gift bag as token of your appreciation for joining you on your special day by the sea shore.

Bohemian weddings encompass a mis-matched array of boho beauty in rich colours and interesting textures. We adore the carefree and laidback style of this vibrant wedding theme and how couples manage to creatively infuse their love into every little aspect of the styling. There are no rules when it comes to a bohemian wedding; pre-loved and new pieces come together to create a homely and natural space.
Earthy colours set the base for boho styling, allowing a natural canvas to build and build upon with a combination of bright colours and patterns. Vintage fabrics are charming and can be used as table runners, place mats, flags or any other kind of unique decoration. Coloured bottles and glass will brighten your table settings and gold goes perfectly with the indian-esque bohemian theme.
The relaxed nature of a bohemian wedding means you can have fun with your bouquet and wedding choices; a variety of colours and types can be mixed together, from bridal poppies to succulents. For creative couples who enjoy the unconventional, the boho wedding is the perfect way to express your eccentricities with family and friends on a day to remember.
