A member of our team was lying on the beach recently in Byron Bay (lucky girl) with the perfect view of the glistening ocean and a pine lime Splice ice-block in hand. Inspired by the delicious chartreuse colour of her treat, she came back and insisted we put together a blog post based on the absolutely stunning citrine hue. As jealous of her holiday as we are, we couldn't resist sharing this beautiful fresh wedding palette with you. Although it may seem like the dull and dreary days we're experiencing at the moment will never end, it will be spring before we know it - the perfect time to showcase a chartreuse wedding. Your planning time starts now!

Picture yourself on a clear spring day, a pine lime cocktail in one hand as a light breeze blows through the newly green trees. Your family and friends, in their best spring attire, make a toast and celebrate the end of the winter months and the beginning of your life together with your husband. Sounds pretty good doesn't it? With only four months until spring and summer (the glass is half full here girls), now is the time to gather all your bright chartreuse inspiration! Fresh bouquets and centrepieces of green viburnum, gladiolus and santini will bring the vibrancy of spring into your chartreuse colour scheme.

Splice attire is so much fun to wear and looks show-stopping on. Break up the vibrancy by dressing bridesmaids in different silhouettes of the pretty shade - it will create an impact with out creating a wall of neon colour. Pop on a floppy hat and accessorise with high strappy sandals to complement the breezy spring vibe. Neutral make-up and simple hairdos will allow the colour to really pop.

An outdoor soiree is ideal for a chartreuse wedding, the colour blends oh so beautifully with the outdoors. It sings vibrantly against the rich earthy palette of South Australian wineries and contrasts amazingly against venues situated on glistening water. The modern palette begs for unique and interesting elements that take a leap away from your typical bridal styling. Statement jewellery, neon groom's shoes and a bright surprise at every turn in the day.
