Brides Of Adelaide welcomes submissions from all South Australian wedding professionals and couples. Please read the full submission guidelines below before submitting your work for consideration. Submissions should be related to weddings in South Australia and/or events and information that would be helpful to SA wedding couples.

Before submitting, please take a few moments to look through our magazine and blog archive to ensure that your submission is in keeping with the content focus of our magazine and blog.   Press releases will not be accepted as submissions. Brides Of Adelaide reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason.

General Submission Guidelines

•     Send all submissions and submission related questions to us via email.

•     All photographs must be approved for publication by the photographer. If you are submitting photographs that you did not take, please ensure that you have written approval from the photographer prior to submission.

•     Photos should be 800 pixels wide if horizontal, 800 pixels tall if vertical, all 72 dpi. We accept photographs in jpg format (no gifs) and images may be submitted individually or as a zip file. Photos should be free of any watermarks or logos.

•     All submissions should include your contact information, a short description of your company, and contact information for any wedding supplier involved.

•     If necessary, we will contact you for more pictures or additional information regarding your submission.

Brides Of Adelaide is currently looking for the following types of submissions for its magazine and blog:

Wedding Related Events, Ideas & Photo Shoots

•     We accept submissions of exciting wedding-related events, ideas and photo shoots in South Australia.

•     Please submit a minimum of 10-15 photos via email.

•     Please include the name of the event, host(s), purpose, time, date, location, pictures and/or event logo (if applicable), contact information, ticket price (if applicable), entry details, RSVP, and website for more information.

•     Wedding related events may also include engagement sessions, styled shoots by wedding suppliers, bridal showers and post-wedding day photos. Please include a description of the event, any DIY items, special inspirations or other information that would be interesting to our readers.

•     Please limit your submissions to one wedding event per email.

•     Submissions must include a complete list of wedding suppliers who participated, including website and contact email.

•     Please indicate whether the event has already appeared on other blogs or magazines. While Brides Of Adelaide does not require exclusive content, we reserve the right to know where photos were published in the past prior to publication in our magazine or on our blog.

•     We also accept submission of discounts or specials being offered by SA wedding suppliers.

Wedding Category-Specific Submissions

•     We welcome stand-alone submissions from local wedding professionals – anything from specific wedding details like bouquets and bridal attire to inspirational photo shoots. Show off your talent and creativity by sending us your favorite projects and ideas!

•     Please submit a minimum of 10-15 photos via email.

•     Please include a description of your submission as well as any inspirations or touches that make it special, including information for any other wedding suppliers who participated.

Wedding Tips & Advice

•     At Brides Of Adelaide, we aim to provide useful planning information for South Australian brides and grooms. If you would like to participate in our regular tips and advice features, please email us with a short description of the tip or type of advice you are willing to promote.

Wedding DIY Projects

•     Whilst wedding DIY projects are not the editorial focus of Brides Of Adelaide magazine, we do accept submissions with high-quality photos of do-it-yourself projects from SA couples and wedding suppliers for our blog.

•     DIY projects should be unique, have special meaning or purpose to the couple.

•     Submissions via email should include at least 5-10 photos of the completed project and any helpful photos of the project being made/assembled.

•     Include a description of the project, such as inspiration, directions for how to make the project, materials used, price and where items were purchased.
